SAN DIEGO SURF FILM FESTIVAL “BEST OF FEST” PRESENTED BY MISFIT PICTURES HQ Every May, thousands of ocean-oriented folks descend on San Diego to watch the finest surf films and join what has become one of the most-respected surf film festivals in the world. SDSFF 2016 featured a Bud Browne lifetime tribute, surfing expression sessions, workshops, live art, after-parties and much, much more. If you happened to miss the San Diego Surf Film Festival in May, fear not…here’s your chance to see all of the award winning films with the “BEST OF FEST” series presented by Misfit Pictures HQ every Thursday for the next 5 weeks. Beginning Thursday, August 18th Misfit PIctures HQ will kick off the series with BODYSURFIN’ THE MOVIE the winner of this year’s Spirit of the Festival. To celebrate the World Bodysurfing Championships in Oceanside the following weekend we are offering this as a free event for all to enjoy. Come meet some of the best bodysurfers in the world as they gear up for the big event. Spanning nearly 5 decades “FRIENDS” is a culmination of work from true friends and photographers Jon Foster and Buz Sipes.
Exhibit is FREE and open to the public and can be seen 11am-7pm, Wednesday – Sunday at the HQ.
Closing night party will be Saturday, July 16th from 6-9pm and both photographers will be present.

ReSurf: Stoked with a Purpose is a testament to the human spirit. The ReSurf program collected 50 used surfboards, fixed them up and traveled half way around the world to stoke out deserved at risk youth.
